01, Toreador Red, came from a small town, and was babied. Carpet and power driver's seat. Too nice.

oh so it was a street appearance package car?
I know someone with a 00 toreador red, he bought it with like 30k miles on it, it was an ex fire chiefs car.

Nope, just a regular P71 with the options. It didn't even have cruise. I added it though.

its so much easier to add to the 05+ cars, all you have to do is swap steering wheels and have the dealership enable it.
So you went from a vic to a camry?

I know, luckily I found a cheap wheel on eBay, and the cruise module was cheap from a local yard. All the wiring is there, just have to plug it all in.
I had a couple Subarus and a Silverado after the Vic, before the Camry.

I don't blame you for selling a 98-02 p71

It got stuck in my driveway one winter, gas was approaching $4 per gallon for the first time, so it was time to move on.
Loved that thing though. A bit big for a commuter car, but we did take it on a few family trips.
